General Rules for Backgrounds
Each background in the table below lists associated skills, languages, and possibly a special ability. You may choose two of the following benefits:
- +1 bonus to a skill (may be chosen twice for the same skill).
- Add a skill to your class list.
- Learn a language.
- Acquire your background’s special ability. If you choose this last option, you may not choose a second background benefit.
